<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope capable of performing excellent observation for a long period of time by preventing decrease in an illumination light quantity and the occurrence of image noise caused by heat generated by LED illumination arranged at the distal end portion of the insertion part. <；P>；SOLUTION: In the endoscope provided with a light-emitting element 6 at the distal end portion 3 of the insertion part, one end portion of a heat-radiating member 21 configured of a plurality of elongated wires is arranged in the vicinity of the light-emitting element 6. The other end portion of the heat-radiating member 21 is arranged at a predetermined position on the proximal end side of the insertion part, and a binding member 60 for binding the wires of the heat-radiating member 21 is provided to a side in the vicinity of the light-emitting element of the heat-radiating member 21.
