The invention further relates to an antimicrobial composition for medical use or for use as a food additive or as a disinfectant, or for detecting bacteria, preferably in a diagnostic application, wherein said antimicrobial composition comprises a bacteriophage, polypeptide, corresponding polynucleotide, construct and/or vector and/or cell comprising such polypeptide and/or composition according to the present invention.
