PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide oil-in-water emulsions which exhibit a satisfactorily translucent appearance, which give a nongreasy effect on the skin and which are stable in any viscosity and can thus be formulated within a broad range of textures (sprayable fluid to thick cream).SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a composition for topical application in the form of an oil-in-water emulsion comprising an oily phase dispersed in an aqueous phase. The composition comprises at least one non-crosslinked amphiphilic polymer. Globules of the emulsion exhibit a mean size ranging from 15 to 500 microns.
