PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article, when a body posture of a wearer is repeatedly changed due to roll-over or the like, suppressing unintended deformation of an absorber and capable of suppressing occurrence of leakage and deterioration in the fit.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 1 includes absorbent cores 31 disposed at a crotch area and a rear-side area and a hip flap 4. The absorbent core includes: a second low basis weight part 42 located at a width-directional center of the absorbent core in a rear side area, and a high basis weight part 45 located at the width-directional outside with respect to the second low basis weight part. The absorbent article 1 includes a surface sheet 11 covering the low basis weight part and the high basis weight part, and a flap sheet 15 disposed at the hip flap.
