A canine bolus bag made from sheet material, preferably paper or polymeric material. The bag comprises a back sheet (1, fig 1) comprising a rear body having first and second projections 2, 3 extending upwardly therefrom. The first and second projections are connected to the body in spaced relation to define an aperture 5 between the projections. A front sheet 9 comprising a forward body portion is secured to the rear body at an edge thereof to form an upwardly opening pouch. The front sheet further comprises a third projection 10 extending from an upper edge of the pouch, the third projection being arranged to hang downwardly from the outside of the pouch in use. The first and second projections are configured to be located on opposite sides of a dogs tail and tied together to secure the pouch. The third projection may be tied to the first or second projections to close the pouch after use. Additional adhesive pads may be provided on the exterior of the front sheet. The bags may be provided as a continuous perforated sheet and may be housed in a container.
