PURPOSE: A portable heater is provided to secure high combustion efficiency without the risk of a fire by generating non-flame heat through the oxidation of catalyst. CONSTITUTION: A portable heater comprises a case, a heating unit, a lid, intake holes, vent holes(20), heat dissipation holes(21), and a fuel filler. The case comprises a fuel chamber and an inlet port. The heating unit is installed in the upper center of the case and oxidizes a vaporized fuel with catalyst to generate non-flame heat. The lid is detachably installed on the top of the case and the heater unit and equipped with a locking device. The intake holes are formed at regular intervals on the side of the heating unit. The vent holes are formed at regular intervals on the side of the lid. The heat dissipation holes are formed at regular intervals on the top of the lid. The fuel filler is filled inside the case.본 발명은 연소용 촉매매트(28)의 촉매 산화반응에 의해 무화염 열이 발생되므로 화재의 위험이 없고, 연소효율이 우수하며, 바람이 세게 불어도 꺼지는 현상이 없어 야외에서도 안심하고 사용할 수 있도록 하고, 뚜껑(3) 부분에 향이 발산되는 발향패드(42)를 설치하여 휴대용 온열기(1) 사용 중에 발생되는 열냄새가 방지되어 상쾌하게 사용할 수 있도록 하고, 본체(2)와 뚜껑(3)을 넣을 수 있는 주머니(40)와, 발열부(4)로 공급되는 공기를 차단시켜 쉽게 소화(消火)시킬 수 있는 소화용 덮개(41)를 더 포함하는 휴대용 온열기에 관한 것이다.
