The present invention relates to a method for efficiently and economically producing EOB-DTPA using a novel intermediate. The method according to the present invention is very advantageous because the in-situ process is possible, the usage of ethylenediamine is significantly reduced, expensive catalysts and reagents are not used, and the hydrogen reaction process with the risk of explosion is excluded.본 발명은 신규 중간체를 이용하여 EOB-DTPA를 효율적이고 경제적으로 제조하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 방법은 in-situ 공정이 가능하며, 에틸렌디아민의 사용량을 유의적으로 줄여주며, 고가의 촉매 및 시약을 사용하지 않으며, 폭발 위험이 있는 수소반응 공정이 배제되므로 매우 유리하다.
