PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that a conventional sphygmomanometer cannot measure under no stress that a person to be measured is in physically and mentally stable states before blood pressure measurement.SOLUTION: A sphygmomanometer includes a microwave generator and a microwave receiver, detects at least the pulses or breaths of the person to be measured from doppler shifted reflected wave detected by the microwave receiver, and starts blood pressure measurement based on the result of the detection. Since the condition of the person to be measured can be detected without touching him or her, his or her condition can be determined under no stress. The result of the blood pressure measurement can also be recorded corresponding to the physically and mentally stable states before the blood pressure measurement. Accordingly, whether the blood pressure is measured appropriately can be determined after the blood pressure.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】従来の血圧計は、血圧測定前に被測定者が肉体的安静状態及び精神的安定状態にあることをノンストレスで測定できないという課題があった。【解決手段】マイクロ波発生器とマイクロ波受信器とを備え、このマイクロ波受信器により検出されるドップラシフトした反射波から、被測定者の脈拍、呼吸の少なくとも1つを検出し、この検出結果を基に血圧測定を開始する。被測定者の状態を非接触で検出できるから、ノンストレスで被測定者の状態を知り得ることができる。血圧測定の結果と血圧測定前の肉体的安静状態及び精神的安定状態とを対応させて記録することもできるので、血圧測定が正しく行なわれたかを血圧測定後に知ることもできる。【選択図】図3
