PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope apparatus, in which a proper parameter is set without being followed by complex operations.SOLUTION: A series of parameters to be used in an operation to be executed by an endoscope apparatus are constituted of a fixed parameter layer M1, an intermediate parameter layer M2 and an execution parameter layer M3. If a parameter belonging to the intermediate parameter layer M2 is set in accordance with the editing works of an operator, the parameter of the intermediate parameter layer M2 is incorporated into the execution parameter layer M3.
