PURPOSE: A filtering apparatus with a sterilization function is provided to effectively remove pathogenic bacteria and non-pathogenic bacteria by applying the sterilization function in an advanced wastewater treatment plant of sewage while reducing initial installation costs and maintenance costs. CONSTITUTION: A filtering apparatus with a sterilization function comprises a filter bath(20), a filtering unit(30) and an ultraviolet radiating unit(60). The filtering unit has a filtering roller(32) and a drain pipe(40). Filtering fibers(12) which form a filtering layer are wound to the circumference of the filtering roller and the filtering roller enables the filtered water which has passed through the filtering fibers flows in by being installed in the filtering bath. The drain pipe connected to the filtering roller supplies the filtered water which came into the filtering roller, and a path to be discharged outside. The ultraviolet radiation unit is equipped with an ultraviolet ramp(61) arranged in the filtering roller through the drain pipe, and the ultraviolet radiation unit applies ultraviolet rays onto the filtered water flow into the filtering roller.
