PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the maneuverability of a threshing apparatus and a combine harvester loaded with the threshing apparatus, and to improve threshing efficiency and reduce the production cost of the threshing apparatus.SOLUTION: A threshing apparatus is provided, being such that the outer side of a threshing chamber (22) is provided with a threshing port (33) via which grain culms are to be inserted into the threshing chamber (22) a feed chain (34) is provided to grip and convey grain culms along the threshing port (33) and on the rear end of the threshing chamber (22), a culm discharge port (32) via which culms after threshed following grip-conveyed by the feed chain (34) are to be discharged is provided consecutively to the threshing port (33).
