The invention relates to a cage (1) for the behavioural study of living organisms, in particular for a toximeter, comprising at least one compartment (2) intended to hold a living organism, the cage (1) being transparent at least on an observation side (4) in order to allow the observation of the living beings from an observation point (10) located at a distance from the observation side (4), the compartment (2) being delimited by separators (3), characterized in that the wall (31a) of one separator (3a) is inclined with respect to the wall (32b) of another separator (3b) such that the walls (31a, 32b) of the separators (3a, 3b) of a compartment (2) are closer together in the direction of the observation side (4), said separators (3a, 3b) being aligned along convergence lines that meet at the observation point (10).L'invention concerne une cage (1) pour étude comportementale d'organismes vivants, notamment pour toximètre, comprenant au moins un compartiment (2) destiné à recevoir un organisme vivant, la cage (1) étant transparente au moins sur une face d'observation (4) afin de permettre l'observation des êtres vivants à partir d'un point d'observation (10) situé à distance de la face d'observation (4), le compartiment (2) étant délimité par des séparations (3), caractérisée en ce que la paroi (31a) d'une séparation (3a) est inclinée par rapport à la paroi (32b) d'une autre séparation (3b) de sorte à ce que les parois (31a, 32b) des séparations (3a, 3b) d'un compartiment (2) se rapprochent en direction de la face d'observation (4),lesdites séparations (3a, 3b) étant alignées selon des lignes de fuite concurrentes au point d'observation (10).
