PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus and program capable of simply and suitably corresponding image groups with each other compared with the prior art.
SOLUTION: A superimposed image generation part generates a two-dimensional superimposed image formed by superimposing information provided in a plurality of volume data, or the corresponding objects, respectively along a prescribed direction (for example, in a direction of orthogonally crossing with the body axis). A corresponding process part corresponds (positions) different volume data so as to correspond the positions of feature sites on the superimposed image.
