The present invention relates to a preparation method of an Artemisia capillaris extract using deep seawater, and the Artemisia capillaris extract prepared by the method. The preparation method comprises the followings: a step of salting Artemisia capillaris by mixing the Artemisia capillaris with the deep sea water； a step of fermenting and aging the Artemisia capillaris by adding a sweetener； and a step of inserting the fermented and aged Artemisia capillaris and desalinated deep seawater into an extractor, and extracting the Artemisia capillaris using the extractor. The unique bitter taste of the Artemisia capillaris can be removed by producing the Artemisia capillaris extract using the deep seawater, and functional components of the deep seawater is added to functional components of the Artemisia capillaris, thereby producing the Artemisia capillaris extract with improved functionality.
