Disclosed are a radiographic film self-printing system and a method thereof. The radiographic film self-printing system of the present invention comprises an information registering workstation, a radiation device, a report workstation, a film virtual printer server, an RIS server, and a self-printing device. The information registering workstation registers information on a patient and generates a barcode and a print receipt. The radiation device confirms the patient and generates diagnostic image data to be transmitted to the report workstation and the film virtual printer server. A physician accesses the RIS server after the report workstation generates electronic diagnostic reports on the basis of the diagnostic image data. When the electronic diagnostic reports are transmitted to the RIS server, the self-printing device reads a receipt barcode to match information on the corresponding patient, and receives the electronic diagnostic reports and an electronic film from the RIS server and the film virtual printer server for printing.
