A fitted bed sheet (1) is provided for covering a mattress and having an upper non-slip surface (2, 2), the sheet being provided with glide flaps (3), which selectively can be arranged to cover a part of the upper non-slip surface (2, 2) of the sheet, so that an object, such as a turnsheet, placed on top of the sheet may glide against the glide flaps (3), wherein the bed sheet (1) is provided with corner parts (4, 4), which are suited to be arranged over the corners of the mattress.
