PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for suppressing occurrence of cloudiness by the interaction between zincs and a nonionic surfactant contained in a solution to obtain a stable solution, and an ophthalmic solution high in stability over a long period of time and excellent in quality using this method.
SOLUTION: The method includes: mixing a solution containing zincs and the nonionic surfactant with 0.02-1 pt.wt. of edetates to 1 pt.wt. of zincs and further setting the pH to 4-6.5.
