[Problem] To provide a therapeutic method dedicated to infectious diseases or inflammatory diseases such as intractable vasculitis, said method being different than therapeutic methods of the prior art in which target molecules are not specified, by specifying target molecules that are effective for treating the abovementioned diseases. [Solution] According to one embodiment of the present invention, a preventive and/or therapeutic agent for infectious diseases or inflammatory diseases is provided, said agent containing, as an active ingredient, antibodies that specifically recognize apolipoprotein A2 (APOA2).
