PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose an instrument and a method for preparing a dyed slide sample which improves accurate workability at a clinical side that is a side sampling and presenting the patient biopsy specimen and a pathological examination side preparing the sample of and examining the biopsy specimen and is surely reflected with clinical information of a patient specimen, and with which excellent biological fixture of a biopsy specimen is guaranteed during fixed move from the clinical side, the biopsy specimen is prevented from being crushed/mixed during move/lost, and the clinical information of the patient biopsy specimen such as a sampling position number of the biopsy sample or a specimen sample preparation direction can be transferred surely and accurately. SOLUTION: A sponge-like lining sheet can be moved while being fixed, dehydrated, defatted, cleared, penetrated with an embedding agent, embedded and sliced thin together with a biopsy specimen. An adhering/fixing fixative comprised of a cyanoacrylate adhesive is capable of speedily adhering/fixing the biopsy specimen at a predetermined position on the sponge-like lining sheet. The sponge-like lining sheet and the adhering/fixing fixative are used to adhere/fix the biopsy specimen on the sponge-like lining sheet. Therefore, excellent biological fixture of the patient biopsy specimen is guaranteed, the biopsy specimen is prevented from being crushed/mixed during move/lost and clinical information of the patient biopsy specimen such as a sampling position number of the biopsy specimen or a specimen sample preparation direction is transferred surely and accurately.
