The invention relates to a device for applying a spreadable composition to a part of the human or animal body, wherein the device comprises a container containing the spreadable composition, an applicator for the spreadable composition and means for urging the spreadable composition out of the container and into contact with the applicator, provided with positioning means connected to the container for positioning the applicator in a position in which composition urged out of the container can be brought into contact with the applicator. As a result of these measures the process of arranging the spreadable substance on the applicator can be much better controlled, thus avoiding messiness. The spreadable composition is preferably urged from the applicator to the body by reducing the volume of the cavity formed in the applicator.Linvention concerne un dispositif pour appliquer une composition pouvant être étalée sur une partie du corps dun être humain ou dun animal, le dispositif comportant un récipient contenant la composition pouvant être étalée, un applicateur pour la composition pouvant être étalée et un moyen pour encourager la composition pouvant être étalée à sortir du récipient et à entrer en contact avec lapplicateur, mis en œuvre avec un moyen de positionnement connecté sur le récipient afin de positionner lapplicateur en une position dans laquelle la composition encouragée à sortir du récipient peut être mise en contact avec lapplicateur. Suite à ces mesures, le processus permettant darranger la substance pouvant être étalée sur lapplicateur peut être mieux contrôlé, évitant ainsi de faire des saletés.
