PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leaf vegetable harvester for harvesting leaves of leaf vegetables cut by a cutting blade and placed on the front end of a belt conveyor by a brush roll, which can prevent a grounding member from sinking into the soil by reducing, as much as possible, the load applied to the grounding member for retaining the height of the cutting blade.SOLUTION: The leaf vegetable harvester includes: a travelling device 1 fixed support bodies 6 fixed to the travelling device 1 a reaping/conveying unit 2 for cutting stems Yb of the leaf vegetables Y and conveying the cut stems rearward and the brush roll 51 for placing leaves just after cutting on the front end 41a of the conveyor belt. The front side of the reaping/conveying unit is set in such a way as to move downward by its own weight, and the grounding member 71 is disposed at a position close to the front of the reaping/conveying unit 2.
