PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust acoustic properties of calling means used by a patient so that senior patients and patients with hearing impairment can easily hear by using a controller relaying calls of patients.SOLUTION: A nurse call system 1 includes: a bed slave machine 2 including a speaker 13 used by a patient a nurse call master machine 3 including a microphone 22 used by a nurse a controller 4 relaying a call from the bed slave machine 2 to the nurse call master machine 3 a storage device 6 storing patient information and a position detector 7 detecting an in-hospital position of the patient. The bed slave machine 2 is provided with a filter circuit 14 adjusting frequency characteristics of the speaker 13.
