PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of conventional immersion type ultrasonic examination apparatus for breasts that an ultrasonic probe and a liquid container containing warm water collide with projecting parts of the breasts to make it difficult to insert the whole breasts in the warm water, resulting in difficulty in collecting ultrasonic data on the whole breasts, and that the probe cannot be set in parallel to and sufficiently close to the body surface, causing deterioration of ultrasonic images.SOLUTION: The edges of the liquid container are shaped into irregularities instead of being flat, so that the breasts do not collide with them, but the ultrasonic data on the whole breasts can be securely collected. A control mechanism is provided to rotate the probe while controlling the inclination angle or position of the probe in such a way that the probe can be kept in parallel to and sufficiently close to the body surface, so that clear images can be provided.COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT【課題】 従来提案されている水浸法の乳房用超音波検査装置では、超音波プローブおよび温水を収納する液体容器が胸郭の凸の部分に接触して乳房全体を温水に挿入することが困難なため乳房全体の超音波データの収集ができなかった。また、プローブと体表を平行でかつ十分に近接させることができなかったため、超音波画像の画質が劣化するという問題があった。【解決手段】 本発明では、液体容器の体表側の縁を平面上にない凹凸をもった形状とすることにより胸郭の接触をなくして乳房全体の超音波データを確実に収集できるようにし、また、プローブを回転させながらプローブの傾斜角度あるいは位置を制御する制御機構をもたせることにより、プローブと体表を平行にしかつ十分に近接させて鮮明な画像を提供できるようにした。【選択図】図5
