This treatment system (1) is provided with: an overtube (2) provided with an endoscope channel and a device channel； an endoscope (3)； and expansion devices (4). Each expansion device is provided with: a tubular sheath which is inserted into the device channel to be movable in the longitudinal direction； a wire which is stored in the sheath and has the distal end secured to the distal end of the sheath； and an operation unit which is connected to the proximal end of the wire and moves the proximal end relative to the sheath in the longitudinal direction thereof. The sheath has a slit extending through the wall of the sheath in the radial direction over a predetermined range in the longitudinal direction. The slit has a width which allows a bending portion of the wire bent through operation of the operation unit to pass therethrough.
