PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide assay of an influenza virus hemagglutinin.SOLUTION: Influenza virus is analyzed using a combination of ultrafiltration and HPLC. This combination can quantify hemagglutinin (HA) with good correlation to the results of single radial immunodiffusion (SRID) and can be carried out without the delay of waiting for immunochemical SRID reagents. The invention provides a method for purifying influenza virus HA in a sample. This method comprises the steps of: (i) carrying out ultrafiltration of a sample to provide a filtrate； and (ii) carrying out RP-HPLC of the filtrate to separate any HA in the filtrate from any other components in the filtrate.【課題】インフルエンザウイルスヘマグルチニンについてのアッセイの提供。【解決手段】限外濾過とＨＰＬＣとの組み合わせを用いてインフルエンザウイルスを分析する。この組み合わせは、ヘマグルチニン（ＨＡ）を定量化することができ、一元放射免疫拡散法（ＳＲＩＤ）の結果と良好に相関するだけでなく、免疫化学的なＳＲＩＤ試薬を待つことによる遅れを伴わずに実施することができる。本発明は、試料中のインフルエンザウイルスＨＡを精製するための方法を提供する。この方法は、（ｉ）試料の限外濾過によって濾液を提供するステップと、（ｉｉ）濾液のＲＰ－ＨＰＬＣによって濾液中の任意のＨＡを濾液中の任意の他の成分から分離するステップと、を含む。【選択図】なし
