The present invention provides labeled compounds suitable for use as in vivo imaging agents. The in vivo imaging agent of the present invention is useful for in vivo diagnosis and imaging of fibrosis, particularly fibrosis. The present invention also provides a method for producing the labeled compound of the present invention and a precursor compound useful for the method and a kit useful for carrying out the method. In addition, the present invention provides pharmaceutical compositions comprising the labeled compounds of the present invention as well as in vivo imaging methods using the labeled compounds of the present invention, preferably the pharmaceutical compositions of the present invention.
