An ocular lens provided with a transmitting region through which light passes, and a non-transmitting region through which light does not pass, the ocular lens characterized in that when a lens is assumed provided with a continuous region including at least the center of the lens, the continuous region being a region in which the transmittance of light has a continuous value from a center of the lens toward a radial direction, and a variation region in which the transmittance of light in the continuous region varies in the radial direction, the transmitting region and the non-transmitting region are arranged in the ocular lens so that the ratio in which the transmitting region and the non-transmitting region are present in a circumferential direction in the radial direction from the center of the ocular lens is equivalent to the variation of the transmittance in the variation region of the assumed lens.
