PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit an absorbent composite material supplied onto a continuous sheet from scattering around.SOLUTION: In an absorbent sheet manufacturing apparatus 1, an absorbent sheet is manufactured, including an absorbent composite material 8 that has a heat-melting adhesive provided on a surface of absorbent resin particles. A sheet transport unit 21 continuously transports a continuous sheet 91 along a transport path. A wetting part 6 wets one surface 911 of the continuous sheet with water in the transport path. A composite material supply unit 4 supplies the absorbent composite material 8 to the one surface 911, which is the upper surface of the continuous sheet 91. At this time, water on the one surface 911 inhibits the absorbent composite material 8 from scattering around.
