PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope apparatus capable of suppressing an increase in power consumption even when an operation using a clock whose speed is higher than that of a normal clock is performed.SOLUTION: A capsule type endoscope 2 includes an illumination part 22, an imaging part 21 for imaging a subject, a signal processing part 24 for processing an imaging signal imaged by the imaging part 21, a transmission part 25 for wirelessly transmitting the imaging signal processed by the signal processing part 24, a low speed clock generation part 27 for generating a low speed clock, a high speed clock generation part 28 for generating a high speed clock intermittently in correspondence with the low speed clock, and an operation control part 23 for controlling at least the imaging part 21 using the high speed clock while the high speed clock is generated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
