The present invention relates to an oil-in-water (O/W) type nano-emulsion composition comprising an oil component containing oil and a polyethylene glycol ester-based emulsifier and a water component containing a polyol or a polyol derivative. The present invention also relates to a cosmetic composition comprising the oil-in-water type nano-emulsion composition, and to a method for preparing the oil-in-water type nano-emulsion composition. According to the present invention, a nano-sized low-viscosity emulsion having a high inner phase can be obtained through the method that is different from the conventional methods of phase inversion temperature emulsification or high pressure emulsification, thereby significantly improving the stability of the emulsion. In addition, the nano-emulsion composition of the present invention can be added to a variety of cosmetic compositions having a variety of methods of use and can thus deliver active ingredients to the skin effectively since it has small-sized particles.본 발명은 오일 및 폴리에틸렌글리콜 에스테르계 유화제를 포함하는 유상 성분 및 폴리올 또는 폴리올 유도체를 포함하는 수상 성분을 포함하는 수중유형(O/W) 나노 에멀젼 조성물, 이를 포함하는 화장료 조성물 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면, 종래의 전상온도 유화법 또는 고압유화법과 차이가 있는 방법을 통해, 내상의 함량이 높은 나노 크기의 저점도 에멀젼을 제공할 수 있으며, 이에 따라 에멀젼의 안정도를 크게 향상시킬 수 있다. 또한, 본 발명에 따른 나노 에멀젼 조성물을 통해 다양한 화장료 조성물에의 응용이 가능하여, 다양한 사용감을 가진 화장료 조성물을 제조할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 입자 크기가 작아 피부에 유효성분을 효과적으로 전달할 수 있는 장점이 있다.
