Disclosed are humanized antibodies and antibody fragments which bind to v5. Also disclosed are methods of treating or preventing v5-mediated diseases using the disclosed antibodies and antibody fragments. The present invention relates, for example, to an isolated antibody or antigen-binding fragment thereof that specifically binds to v5, which is at least 80% identical to the amino acid sequence shown in any one of SEQ ID NO: 1 to SEQ ID NO: 7 Wherein said antibody or antigen-binding fragment thereof is provided comprising a heavy chain variable region.
