PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic take-up measuring tape for children, enabling even a doctor other than a pediatrician to appropriately determine the quantity of medicines to be dosed to a child patient and the size, etc. of a tracheal tube to be inserted into the trachea upon critical care in children.SOLUTION: A measuring tape 20 of the automatic take-up measuring tape for children 1 is made of a fabric and formed in the shape of a band whose width is approximately 4 cm and whose length is about 200 cm. Most of the measuring tape is housed in a housing 10 in the wound state. The measuring tape 20 has a height scale for measuring the height of children, a child age entry column, a child weight entry column, a child medical instrument information entry column and a child drug amount information entry column. An automatic take-up device includes a button 31, a spring and a rotary member.
