A method for manufacturing a super absorbent resin comprises the steps of: forming a first polymer by thermal-polymerizing and photo-polymerizing a monomer composition including a water-soluble ethylenically unsaturated monomer and a polymerization initiator； forming a second polymer by thermal-polymerizing and photo-polymerizing the monomer composition including the water-soluble ethylenically unsaturated monomer and the polymerization initiator； drying the first polymer； pulverizing the dried first polymer； and mixing the pulverized first polymer and the second polymer freely swelled by using a cross-linking solution to make the first polymer react by cross-linking with the second polymer.
