The present invention relates to an extended vegetation pedestrian bridge which minimize changes in temperature of a pedestrian bridge by radiation of the sun by planting plants or trees in the upper side of the pedestrian bridge constructed at the side of a bridge in order to help a smooth passage of pedestrians or bicycles, thereby providing pedestrians with agreeable walking environment and relieving urban warming. The extended vegetation pedestrian bridge is disposed at one side of the upper part of the pedestrian bridge in the longitudinal direction of the pedestrian bridge and comprises: an irrigation channel which has a plurality of water outlets formed at one side to supply water introduced from the outside through the outlets； a housing which is disposed on the upper part of the pedestrian bridge, of which one side comes into contact with the side of the bridge where the water outlets of the irrigation channel are formed, and which has an inlet formed at one side and opened at the upper side to be communicated with the water outlets of the irrigation channel； and a plurality of vegetation cases which are detachably mounted inside the housing, and each of which forms a movement path by plants planted in the vegetation case, wherein the vegetation cases are spaced from the bottom side of the housing to the upper part at a predetermined interval and have a plurality of through holes formed at the lower part of the vegetation cases.본 발명은 보행자나 자전거의 원활한 통행을 돕기 위하여 교량 등의 측방에 설치되는 보도교 상면에 식물을 식재하여 일사에 의한 보도교의 온도 변화를 최소화함으로써, 보행자에 쾌적한 보행 환경을 제공함과 동시에 도시 온난화 현상을 완화시킬 수 있는 식물 녹화가 가능한 확장형 보도교에 대한 것이다.본 발명의 식물 녹화가 가능한 확장형 보도교는 보도교 상부 일측에 보도교의 길이 방향을 따라 구비되는 것으로, 일측면에 복수의 출수구가 형성되어 외부에서 유입된 물을 출수구를 통해 공급하는 용수로； 일측이 상기 용수로의 출수구가 형성된 측면에 접하도록 보도교 상부에 구비되는 것으로, 상부가 개방되고 용수로의 출수구와 연통되도록 일측에 유입구가 구비된 하우징； 및 상기 하우징 내부에 착탈 가능하게 수납되는 것으로, 내부에 식물이 식재되어 이동통로를 형성하는 복수의 식생함； 으로 구성되되, 상기 식생함은 하우징 저면으로부터 일정 간격 상부로 이격 배치되고, 상기 식생함의 하부에는 복수의 통공이 형성되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
