The present invention relates to 5-alkoxy-1H-tetrazoles and a method of manufacturing a derivative thereof. The method includes a step of making a reaction between alcohol and 5-amino tetrazoles in an acidic condition. The alcohol includes at least one among compounds indicated in chemical formula 1 and chemical formula 2. As such, the present invention is capable of improving productivity and research of high energy substances and medicines.
