A connector assembly (1) has a connection part (2), which can be connected to a first component for connection. A connection portion (11) of the connection part (2) is designed for sealing abutment against a mating connection portion of a mating connector, which can be connected to a second component for connection. An introduction portion (15) of the connection part (2) is designed for introduction of the mating connection portion. A disposable subassembly has at least one blocking part (4, 5), which can be changed over between a release position, in which the introduction potion (15) is free for introduction of the mating connection portion, and a blocking position, in which the blocking part (4, 5) projects into the introduction portion (15) such that the latter is blocked irreversibly by the blocking part (4, 5) against introduction of the mating connection portion. A locking part (3) of the disposable subassembly can be changed over between a locking position, in which the blocking part (4, 5) is locked in the release position by abutment against the locking part (3), and an unlocking position, in which changeover of the blocking part (4, 5) into the blocking position is released. This results in a connector assembly which can be used reliably and without any risk of contamination.
