PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcement device that may be implanted in a body of a human or an animal or reinforce a hard tissue of a human or an animal for implanting another implant later.SOLUTION: The medical apparatus includes a sheath element 11 suited to come into contact with hard tissue of a living body and/or hard tissue replacement material during a surgical operation. The sheath element, for example, includes: a longitudinal bore 13 having a generally longitudinal shape and regulating a longitudinal opening ranging from a proximal end of the sheath element to a distal direction； and a plurality of holes 14 in a wall of the opening. The medical apparatus further includes a liquefiable material 12, the liquefiable material being insertable or pre-inserted in the longitudinal opening.
