An end-cap assembly (1) for closing one end of a housing (2) of a filter comprises an end-cap (3) having an end wall； an inlet port (8) extending through the end wall for connection to a first end (4a) of a pump hose (4) of a peristaltic pump； and a first holder (5) for securing a second end (4b) of the pump hose (4).
