PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide solidifying culture soil which can be directly planted without need for replanting and has sufficient solidification strength enabling the solidifying culture soil to be semi-automatically or fully automatically used by a machine, biological inactivity not hindering germination and growth of a seedling, and biodegradability preserving a field environment.SOLUTION: The solidifying culture soil for breeding and growing a seedling has a blending weight ratio between a water-soluble polymer derived from Tamarindus indica (also called as tamarind gum) and culture soil of 1:99 to 30:70, and further, is enabled to be directly planted while retaining the root clump without hindering growth of the seedling, by being blended with a biomass powder by 0.3 to 20 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the mixture of the water-soluble polymer derived from Tamarindus indica and the culture soil.SELECTED DRAWING: NoneCOPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】機械による半自動もしくは全自動にて用いることができる十分な固化強度と、種苗の発芽と成長を妨げない生物的不活性さと圃場環境の保全に資する生分解性を有する植替えの必要のない直植え可能な固化培土を提供する。【解決手段】育種育苗用固化培土は、タマリンド由来の水溶性高分子(タマリンドガムともいう)と培土の配合比が1:99~30:70重量比であり、これに加えて、タマリンド由来の水溶性高分子と培土の混合物100重量部に対して、バイオマス粉末を0.3~20重量部で配合することで苗の生育を阻害せずに根鉢を保持して直植えを可能とする。【選択図】なし
