PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a further tool for pest controlling mosquitoes which are important as pest and disease mediation organism.SOLUTION: There are provided an insect pest control formulation and a pest control method having a form of insect carrying an insecticide capable of pest controlling insect population, especially mosquitoes population by being sent to the population. The formulation is an artificially generated larva expellent carrying imago and the larva expellent has minimum effect to an imago and affects survival of a larva or inhibits a larva insect from transforming to an imago. There is provided the insect pest control method, in which an insect may be male or female, may contain mosquitoes, and pest control of wild mosquitoes population which may be other insects is included. A method for coating insects with the pest expellent includes powdering the insecticide as a powder, a granule and other solid to insects or spraying liquid insecticide to the insects.
