Es wird eine unidirektional elastische, klebende Bandage, das Verfahren zur Herstellung, sowie deren Verwendung beschrieben. Die Bandage liegt in Form eines Segments vor und eignet sich durch die elastischen und gleichzeitig klebenden Eigenschaften besonders gut zur Stützung von Gelenken und zur Vorbeugung und Minimierung von Verletzungen von Körperbereichen. Dabei wird das Bandagesegment durch die haftklebenden Ausrüstung, auch über einen längeren Zeitraum, in Position gehalten und unterstützt durch die Elastizität die natürliche Bewegung, ohne zu Abschnürungen oder Faltenbildung zu führen. Auch beim Tragen über einen längeren Zeitraum stellt sich kein Fremdkörpergefühl ein.
