The present invention provides a method of treating a fabric to make the fabric insect repellent. More specifically, the present invention relates to a Chrysanthemum oil nano emulsion used to treat Nylon net fabric using a novel application technique carried out at room temperature. The finished fabric exhibits good wash fastness and durability till 25 washes. The treated fabric showed excellent mosquito repellency and mosquito mortality rates.
