The invention relates to a fragrance composition containing, by weight of the composition, about 1.0 to about 30.0 wt% fragrance, about 2.0 to about 30.0 wt% of a system consisting of a diol and a surfactant, about 25.0 to about 80.0 wt% ethanol, and at least about 5.0 wt% water. The fragrance and the system (diol + surfactant) together make up at most 60.0 wt% of the composition. Water and ethanol together make up at most 97.0 wt% of the composition.
