A diluent selected from (a) dimethyl fumarate, (b) monosaccharides, disaccharides, starch and starch derivatives, calcium and magnesium inorganic salts, sugar alcohols, and mixtures thereof, (c) microcrystalline cellulose and (d). A pharmaceutical composition comprising croscarmellose sodium is described, wherein the dimethyl fumarate is not coated with a gastric resistant coating.
