The present invention relates to an apparatus for molding cogs for suture thread. More specifically, the apparatus of the present invention comprises: a first molding means for molding cogs on the upper end of a supplied suture thread； a second molding means for molding cogs on the lower end of the suture thread having multiple cogs on the upper end thereof molded by the first molding means； a first tension means disposed on the front side of the first molding means to prevent twisting of the suture thread and retain tension of the suture thread to guide the suture thread to the first molding means； and a second tension means interposed between the first and the second molding means to prevent twisting of the suture thread and retain tension of the suture thread to guide the suture thread to the second molding means. According to the present invention, cogs can be readily molded on the upper end and the lower end based on the a horizontal line passing through the center of the transferring suture thread and multiple cogs can be simultaneously molded, thereby increasing productivity and enhancing work efficiency.본 발명은 봉합사 가시 성형장치에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 공급된 봉합사의 상단부에 가시를 성형하기 위한 제1성형수단, 상기 제1성형수단을 거쳐 상단부에 다수의 가시가 성형된 봉합사의 하단부에 가시를 성형하기 위한 제2성형수단, 상기 제1성형수단 전측에 구비되어 봉합사의 뒤트림을 방지하고, 장력을 유지하며 상기 제1성형수단으로 가이드하기 위한 제1텐션수단, 상기 제1성형수단과 제2성형수단 사이에 구비되어 봉합사의 뒤틀림을 방지하고, 장력을 유지하며 상기 제2성형수단으로 가이드하기 위한 제2텐션수단,을 포함하여 이루어진다.상기와 같은 본 발명에 의하면, 이송되는 봉합사의 중심을 지나는 수평선상을 기준으로 상단부와 하단부에 가시를 용이하게 성형할 수 있음은 물론, 다수의 가시를 동시에 성형할 수 있어 생산성을 증대시키고, 작업효율을 향상시킬 수 있다.
