FEMORAL PROSTHESIS WITH ABSORBABLE STEM This subject relates to a femoral component of a hip prosthesis consisting of two parts, an upper (metaphyseal) portion made of non-bioabsorbable biocompatible material and a lower (diaphyseal) lower portion. The diaphyseal portion will be absorbed by the body months after its implantation, time necessary for the definitive fixation of the metaphyseal part in its proper position through osteointegration. This set allows perfect alignment of the prosthesis during the surgical procedure by serving the diaphyseal stem as a guide within the femoral canal, and due to its small size will facilitate the removal of the upper part if revision surgery is required.PRÓTESE FEMORAL COM HASTE ABSORVÍVEL O presente objeto refere-se a um componente femoral de uma prótese de quadril constituido por duas partes, uma porção superior (metafisária) fabricada em material biocompatível não bioabsorvível e uma porçâo inferior (diafisária) bioabsorvível. A porção diafisária será absorvida pelo organismo meses após sua implantação, tempo necessário para a fixação definitiva da parte metafisária em sua posição adequada através da osteointegraçâo. Este conjunto permite o perfeito alinhamento da prótese durante o procedimento cirúrgico servindo a haste diafisária como guia dentro do canal femoral, e devido ao seu pequeno tamanho facilitará a retirada da parte superior caso uma cirurgia de revisão seja necessária.
