PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image processor that produces suitable synthetic images according to the situations in an endoscopic observation.
SOLUTION: The medical image processor is connected with both of an endoscope and a plurality of other image input devices other than the endoscope at once. This processor also produces a first image based on the imaging signal of a subject imaged by the endoscope and a second image based on the image signal output from at least one of the plurality of other image input devices. This medical image processor includes an image signal input section to receive input image signals, an image synthesizing section to combine the first and second images, a priority order setting section to set the priority order of images to be synthesized as a second image, and a control section to selectively output one of the image signals from among image signals input to the image signal input section based on the connecting condition and priority order of the plurality of image input devices.
