A method for calibrating an artifact of a computerized tomography image changes the intensity of an artifact generated in an object according to irradiation of electromagnetic wave using an auxiliary device with a predetermined attenuation coefficient, obtains a plurality of computed tomography images, and generates an image from which the artifact is extracted from the images in which the intensity of the artifact is changed.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020본 발명은 전산화 단층촬영(computed tomography) 기술에 관한 것으로, 전산화 단층촬영 영상의 인공물을 보정하는 방법은, 미리 설정된 감쇠 계수를 갖는 보조 장치를 이용하여 전자기파의 조사에 따라 대상체에서 발생하는 인공물(artifact)의 강도(intensity)를 변화시키면서 전산화 단층촬영 영상을 복수 개 획득하고, 인공물의 강도가 변화된 복수 개의 영상으로부터 인공물이 추출된 영상을 생성한다.
