PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of an opening of an end part on a crotch side on an exterior body.SOLUTION: An underpants type disposable diaper is configured so that: a front exterior body 12F and a rear exterior body 12B are spaced in a cross direction the front exterior body 12F and the rear exterior body 12B comprise in a cross direction range containing an absorber 56, a non-stretchable area A1 provided on a width direction intermediate part, and stretchable areas A2 provided on both sides of the width direction of the non-stretchable area A1 the non-stretchable area A1 comprises an inside sheet layer 12H and an outside sheet layer 12S continuous from the stretchable areas A2 and an unnecessary elastic stretchable member 19 formed of at least one of a cutting remainder continuous from the elastic stretchable member of the stretchable area A2 left between the inside sheet layer 12H and the outside sheet layer 12S, and a cutting piece of the elastic stretchable member not continuous to the elastic stretchable members on both stretchable areas A2.
