A device for plucking plant from its root comprises of a first shaft (10) a first wheel (11) a second wheel (12) a second shaft (13) a handle base (14) a first handle (15), said first handle (15) is fastened to the free end of the handle base (14) a lever (16), said lever (16) is operatively affixed to the first shaft (10) and the second shaft (13) a second handle (17) and a clamp (18), wherein the clamp (18) performs de-clamping/clamping action according to the movement of the lever (16). Thrusting the lever (16) and the second shaft (13) in the downward direction by applying force on the first handle (15) and the second handle (17) simultaneously, wherein the clamped plant is uprooted and plucked from its root. The present invention requires less amount of energy, force and time to pluck the plant from its root. (Figure to be published along with the abstract : Figure 1)
